Trek Bicycle Store team rider Michael Walsh recently completed a ride from Melbourne to Sydney to raise money for the Cancer Foundation.

Michael organised the ride himself and was also supported by his school, Castle Hill High.

The ride took 7 days to complete and finished with Michael entering the Castle Hill Showground during the Walk for a Cure event where he was warmly greeted and welcomed on stage by recently crowned Miss Universe Australia Laura Dundovic.

Averaging over 125kms a day Andrew raised $25,000 for cancer research.

Michael is not only a very talented young rider, but for someone who is still in Year 11 at school, is a very inspirational young man.
