History
The Trek brand was founded in Madison Wisconsin in 1976, and has been a market leader in bicycle and bicycle accessory design and innovation.

Trek Bicycle Store holds free maintenance courses and fitness rides for our customers. We also have a network of fitness, health and travel professionals who understand cycling and can assist you get fit and feel great.

Professional Bicycle Assembly
At Trek Bicycle Store we go above and beyond when it comes to assembling bikes we sell. We care about our customers safety and riding satisfaction, so we go the extra mile in bike assembly.
Each Bicycle we assemble for our customers goes through the following procedures:
- We remove the cranks and bottom bracket and grease all parts
- We oil all inner gear and brake cables
- We realign the replaceable rear derailleur tip of the frame
- We true both the wheels
- We grease the pedal threads
- We grease the crank bolts
- We grease all other bolts
- We pre stretch all gear and brake cables
- Plus do all the other regular processes in professionally assembling a bicycle

Shop rides
Improve your confidence and fitness on our morning road ride.
Join us to improve your skills and fitness. The ride is led by a qualified Trek Bicycle Store staff member and the emphasis is on group riding skills and enjoyment, not speed.
We leave the Trek Bicycle Store and ride a local route, returning to the store for the finish.
If you would like to join us, you will need a bike, a helmet, spare tube and some change if you want a pre or post ride coffee. Please take into account the light levels in winter, so you will need appropriate lights. Please see trekbicyclestore.com.au for further details

Professional fitting service
At Trek Bicycle Store we like to make sure that the bike fits you perfectly, whether it’s a bicycle for your child, or a professional road bike. We believe the right bike, is a bike that fits.
When buying a road bike from Trek Bicycle Store, we take time to professionally fit this bike to you. This includes rider set up, making sure shoes and pedals are installed correctly, adjusting seat height, seat placement, stem length and height. These are all important factors in getting the right fit.

Mountain bike skill clinics
Improve your skills and confidence on a Trek Bicycle Store cycling skills clinic. Learning to handle your mountain bike correctly will make your cycling easier, safer and more enjoyable.
The Trek Bicycle Store skill clinic is designed for riders of all abilities and confidence levels. The course begins with fundamental skills such as correct braking and steering before progressing to more advanced on and off road techniques. Within each course, participants can push themselves as little or hard as they wish.
Our instructors are experienced and dedicated cyclists. We have renowned free riding experts. Who are not only incredibly accomplished riders but natural teachers who love to share their knowledge and skills with others.

Maintenance courses
Don’t let a flat tyre or a squeaky chain ruin your next ride. Our experienced mechanics can show you the fast and easy ways to change a tube, adjust your gears and clean and care for your bike.
Our maintenance classes are held on the first and third Thursday of every month. Courses run from 6pm until 7pm. The relaxed but informative format makes these courses popular with both men and women. These are complimentary for customers, bookings are essential.
